Jördis Anderson is currently writing her thesis about Flickr and its community. She wants to evaluate how Flickr works, how it created this community and if it’s possible to adapt these mechanisms to create a community print magazine.

Is this similar to http://jpgmag.com and what they are trying to do? I believe they use a group concept to vote new pictures into the magazine…and all the photographers are amateurs.
