Photographing the elderly is a tricky thing… On one hand, people with cameras always tend to flock towards non threatening subjects (kids, animals, old people). On the other, when you have kids or pets (or you are an old person) and you photograph your world as an insider… the greatest pictures tend to happen. It’s just one of those crazy magic things.
Pedro Meyer (of ZoneZero fame) photographed and narrated the passing of his parents, “I photograph to remember” was one of the first ZoneZero projects. It’s beautiful and sad and brave.
Swissmiss is an online garden Tina Roth Eisenberg started in 2005 and has lovingly tended to ever since.
Besides swissmiss, Tina founded and runs TeuxDeux, CreativeMornings and her Brooklyn based co-working community Friends Work Here. (She also started Tattly which was recently adopted by BIC)
