design life now: national design triennal 2006

I enjoyed the massive artsy crowd at the opening of the Design Life Now: National Design Triennial 2006 at the Cooper Hewitt Museum last night. (Thank you again Allegra!) . If you heart design and live somewhat closeby NYC make sure to check it out. Even though there were way too many people to really soak up all the different projects, it was immensely inspiring. You get to see various designs and emerging experimental ideas —including animation, new media, and fashion, robotics, architecture, product, medical, and graphic design. Worth a visit!

(That picture above is lame, isn’t it. But it’s the only thing I could find about the exhibition! odd!)
