YES! Gmail has added additional functionality making it easy for you to attach multiple attachments to an email. Google tend to stay away from most things flash unless absolutely necessary but in this case they’ve made an exception! Finally!

  1. I just noticed it this morning and squealed with delight! The attachment functionality was the only thing I hated to death about gmail before.

  2. Now if they would just make it an option (please at least an OPTION) to get rid of the conversations feature.

I hate it. I know others have adapted, but i just don’t like it. I run my gmail out of Mac Mail most of the time, but when i need to use it on the go, i despise it all over again.

  3. Probably, the reason because Google have implemented this thing only today is that progress bar of the upload does not work on Linux versions of Flash Player.
Still today it does not work, so if you go on Gmail with Linux OS you will not use Flash. I hope that now Adobe will fix this bug…

  4. are you kidding me? you’ve always been able to send multiple attachments with gmail.

  5. John, I didn’t say you couldn’t send multiple attachements before. I was stating that Gmail has made the process easier to do so.

  6. oh it is about time. hooray for google!

  7. I ♥ Gmail.

  8. Why is this easier? Because of a progress bar?

I’ve used Gmail for 5 years now and haven’t noticed any change to the attachments besides a progress bar.
