I am the proud owner of one of these Felt Laptop Sleeves by Redmaloo. Who knew one can get excited about a laptop sleeve? This one is a real beauty and head-turner when ‘unfolded’ in public. The right hand flap (or left side, if you’re a lefty) functions as a mousepad. Genious!

I love this, it’s very distinctive. Kind of pricey, but definitely original.

Awesome. I may violate your patent, Redmaloo… just need to get some nice felt and some scissors; but I’ll tell everyone your brilliant one, and I’m just cheap.

Wow, that’s very expensive. You won’t find this anywhere near my wishlist at $140. While I understand the value of design, I also get the feeling they don’t understand the concept of selling cheaper = selling more. The materials are certainly not that expensive.
But I like that they made it multi-use, as any mobile-centric product ought to be.

yeap, really nice idea, but I agree with Zeke, this is the perfect project for a DIY laptop sleeve (with some improvements too maybe!)
I had bought the ipod case some time ago from maloo, the materials are fantastic :)

This really reminds me of my awesome 10turio laptop sleeve:

I love love love it. The outside is water absorbing and the inside is soft and fluffy :)

Out of curiosity, does this make your laptop run warmer? I know MacBook Pros get pretty darn on hot underneath, even when sitting on non-insulating surfaces…

I was looking around for a wool felt sleeve, and as well as these funky ones I found http://www.hardgraft.com who design sleeves which are worlds away from anything I’ve seen. Really tidy with a cool vintage style.

Glad that these sleeves are a wool felt, as I wouldn’t want rabbits, guinea pigs, beavers, or nutria killed for such a thing.

I’m just wondering if you’ve had any issues with static electricity from the wool rubbing against the plastic of your laptop, its battery, etc.?
