LongLiveAnalog | Chad Kouri

Last week I had the pleasure to meet Chad Kouri, one of the forces behind The Post Family here at swissmiss studio.
Lucky me, he gave me the above collage as a gift which will soon be hanging in Ella’s room. YAY! Check out the rest of his collages on his site, longliveanalog.com. (Is that the coolest url ever?) Also, make sure to pay The Post Family a visit.
Design Limericks for your Amusement
There once was a UI Designer
Who thought a right-nav was more finer.
But users bemoaned
When they could not find “Home”,
And simply restarted their browser.
There was an “Adobe Updater”
Who’s button said “Update me later”.
Whenever we’d work,
It popped up like a jerk.
And so we are “Updater” haters!

Vintage Window Calendar

From France this is a beast of a wall calendar measuring in at 17x16x1.5″. Inside the plastic frame sit 56 ‘windows’ which turn around to reveal the dates, month and day. The pattern alone, so retro, is *amazing* but when it is interspersed with numbers it is magnificent. Unique, collectible and in good vintage condition. And already SOLD. Bummer.
Mustache on your Bike
Every bike has personality, but does yours have enough personality to sport a mustache? Give your bike a bit of bling and help it to stand out from the crowd with a copper mustache head badge. Approximately 1″ tall by 2″ wide. Keep it flush against the frame, or bend the curls out for even more fun. Made me smile.
