Video: Matt Mullenweg Fireside Chat

I had the pleasure to attend this Fireside Chat between Matt Mullenweg, founder of Automattic and WordPress and Liz Danzico a few weeks back. I was seriously impressed by Matt: he is eloquent, incredibly smart and has a warm personality.

Watch the video for Mullenweg’s insights on design, entrepreneurship, and open source.

(I am so excited that Roland Lazarte who is filming all of our CreativeMorning events is now filming the MFA in Interaction Design Videos. Congrats Roland)

  1. Thanks for the video! I love to see the frame work of the life of a company. How it started, how it grew, ext. It makes it even more interesting when it is a product that I use.

  2. Thanks for sharing the video! It was interesting to see the show of hands on whether design/art was a solo or group activity. For whatever it’s worth, I’d have to say that since art is design without form, it is created both individually and collectively. Since good design (in loose terms) works to bring an otherwise complex problem into simpler terms for the benefit of many, it naturally lends itself to multiple angles of insight, from multiple people. That’s my vote, anyway.
