  1. When I read this, I felt ackward.
    When we acknowledge we live in a world where virtual, unmaterial things have so much relevance we need to celebrate them somehow, do we try and make this new elements fit into an old system (museum acquisitions and classifications);
    or do we revise if the old systems are still relevant in our current society?
    I think there have been many voices claiming the expansion of the “curatorial” sphere into the streets and the virtual platforms. When the MOMA feels they need to celebrate the symbol @, maybe it’s about time we look into growing our conceptualization of what is art and how it becomes officially so.
