Here’s a fantastic post by Derek Powazek about designing for the iPad.
I am convinced that the iPad is changing how we design for the web in general.
I can’t wait to get started on the TeuxDeux iPad app in the coming weeks.
On this topic I also recommend the excellent Post http://informationarchitects.jp/designing-for-ipad-reality-check/
Can you discuss why you believe the iPad is changing web design? On its face, it seems like a niche, luxury product.
Interesting post. Shame the type was light on a dark background as it was difficult to read with the reflections on my iPad screen!
I love most of what you post Tina, but I’d be a bit circumspect before jumping headlong into ipad fandom as you may be aligning yourself with a rather nasty demographic.
And this is where I say … when are we going to get a TeuxDeux app for, ah, Android? Seriously though, TeuxDeux’s the best to-do-list app going and I’d love to have it be mobile!
You can’t wait?
Thank you James. We are actually already working on the Android app.
The TeuxDeux app came out two days ago, but it’s not really official yet as we have to update the graphics for the retina screen in the iPhone 4s. So shhhh….
