BLAZE is a beautifully designed, high-quality bike light that aims to significantly improve a cyclist’s visibility and safety! Two swissmiss thumbs up.
neat neat, I think if it was not mounted in the handle bar, it might be projecting the image a bit more still on the road, but just not “bending” around the corner. I’d definitely give it a try.
This and similar laser-on-street projects seem more cute than useful to me. These are projecting light on the ground — where many drivers can’t even see it, much less interpret it correctly. I notice that demo videos are shot from very high angles — never from within a vehicle.
With a 60 pound pricetag, I rather with these designers would focus on mounting any of the very good 1watt LED taillights into a helmet rig pointed in four directions. The main problem with this is that it looks insane — design could certainly help here.
