  1. Hi,
I really, really, love your site. I learn so much from it. Agree with Thumper’s dad.
    Best regards, from Portugal.

  2. I’m not a big fan of using pirated video to attract attention to a website by which one makes money. The design world should seek to honor the contributions of other artists–even if the art is controlled by a large company.

  3. Garrick, it’s 23 secs of video. Calling it pirated is a fairly extreme overreaction.

  4. “Son, if you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating.”

  5. Whoever animated Thumper must be a parent! Brilliant acting.

  6. Your website makes me smile everyday :)

  7. So if something’s wrong just keep your mouth shut? Like many Germans during WWII?

C’mon folks, only because it’s a little rabbit who says that and only because it’s a nice animation and the movie’s a classic, criticism isn’t per se wrong!

  8. Is this post referencing something I am not aware of?

  9. While I love your site and most of the things you post here, this is simply moronic.
If you only received, or for that matter only acknowledged, positive feedback you wouldn’t be able to improve your work. More importantly you won’t adapt to meet your unhappy customers’s demands.

It’s great if you wan’t to be safe, but if you want to excel at anything you’ve got to realise how important negative feedback is.
The greatest business men didn’t become great by being nice.

  10. Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet. (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk). __ Said by prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

  11. Boy I’m not sure what kind of feedback this site normally attracts (which I would like to assume is mostly positive!), but this blog post sure did stir up some miserable sounding people. What I believe was intended to be a sweet, passing reminder of practicing kindness in our daily lives aparently did not sit well with those hung up on piracy and Germans in WWII.

I’m sure Swiss Miss only meant to inspire, not to offend or be controversial. In short, thank you Swiss Miss for this adorable post!

  12. I think some people ignored Thumper!
