This was part of an amazing show a few years ago at the Moma called ‘Design and the Elastic Mind’ curated by Paola Antonelli. It was a wonderful mix of design and science that brought to the forefront lots of great ideas. Also, there’s a great interview with Paola on Charlie Rose, also very amazing.
