It’s a Shelf. No wait, it’s a table. It’s both!
What a neat idea! Reminds me of Doc Sofa:
So what happens with the stuff on the shelves when you decide to set up the table? I love the mechanism but I don’t find it very practical.
My biggest fear would be falling asleep on the desk then waking up in the shelves, trapped.
If what you store on the shelves is one full dinner service, a box containing table cloth, napkins, cutlery, and a vase, you could simply use it all to host a dinner party, and then put the table away when you’re done, and re-store the dishes and glassware after you’ve washed up.
Agree with Bogdan.
I prefer to have good and stable shelves and good and stable table (one can sleep at as Aalvk).
Good work, very practical , I think. Especially for big families and on special occasion. In a daily timeframe, it remains as shelves, during family gatherings, it is another table.
