For over 15 years, Japanese artist Tatsuo Horiuchi has rendered the subtle details of mountains, cherry blossoms, and dense forests with the most unlikely tool: Microsoft Excel. Mind blown!

  1. Not at all what I was expecting! I assumed he created a very tiny grid of cells and was filling each cell with different colors, similar to pixels.
