It’s May 2020. The UK has been in lockdown for over a month leaving many people feeling isolated and anxious. Photographer Nick Pumphrey turned to where he feels most at home – the sea. Applause Encouraged #111415
I love this: Applause Encouraged #111415 by Scott Polach was Installed as part of Convergence, a site-specific show at Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego. Guests were checked in by a greeter, asked to turn off their phones, reminded not take any photos for a 45 min duration and were ushered to their seats. At the last light the group applauded, and participants were offered refreshments.
