This Nesting Shelf made me look.
I get very excited when furniture is multi functional: The Flop chair looks comfortable and spacious, and it can be easily turned into a functional twin bed. And as a bonus feature, all the guest bed paraphernalia (pillows, comforters, and sheets) can be stored right inside the chair. So good!
Table for Two is a clever desk/dining table design by Daniel Liss.
Now this kids desk by RAFA kids is a beauty! You see it closed in the image above but once the lid is lifted you discover another layer of the desk with rounded corners and hidden organizer. Perfect place to put notebooks, iPad or little toys and treasures. Vertical part is good exposition space for drawings, photos or important messages. I’d take a grown up version!
I noticed this beauty of a West Elm coffee table at my friend’s house over the weekend. Bookmarked!
Some lamps are a little too tall. Others are a little too short. This is not a problem with Cranky, an adjustable-height table lamp.
This see-saw table, De Tafelwip by Marleen Jansen, should make for interesting dinners. Also, it will prevent you from ever eating alone. Made me laugh.
Next year we’re moving our co-working space to Boerum Hill (I’ll announce details soon) and I am considering using the The Floyd Utility Set as a table system for the lounge area. They turn any flat surface into a table. Supercool!
Gasp! NOI Worktable by OHIO Design is the most beautiful, minimal giant desk I have ever seen. You can customize it in length and you can chose from a variety of surface materials. Me, I am all for white.
I am in love with this red and white school desk over at Land of Nod. So much, I want to fill Studiomates with it!
I find this Dot Desk over on the Land of Nod quite charming. Perfect for a small corner desk in a small apartment.
Herman Miller is releasing the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in an all-black version. Oh my! What a beauty!
