I just received a ‘handwritten’ card that was sent via an app called Felt. I could not tell that it was written on an iPad. Oddly impressive.

Cesar says that The One Second Project has had such profoundly positive impact on his life, that he decided to develop an App that will make it easy for anyone to create these day-memories.

The 0.99$ I spent on MaddieCam on Sunday have already paid off a hundred times over. Haven’t had this much fun with an app in a while. Maddie is the famous internet coonhound that stands on things and now, you can put her on anything you’d like, thanks to MaddieCam.
There’s also a fantastic book out about her: Maddie on Things. Oh, and she once stood on my desk.

WeeRockets
My three year old, Tilo, is in love with two iPhone games I recently discovered: WeeRockets (above) and WeeSubs. I admit, I play with them as well.

The Moves iPhone App tells you how much you move (or not). Moves automatically records any walking, cycling and running you do. The app is always on, so there’s no need to start and stop it. Love it!
Petting Zoo


While visiting NYC last week, Christoph Niemann stopped by Studiomates and I got to see his brand new kids iPhone/iPad app called Petting Zoo. At the time he had just submitted it to the App Store, but it is live now! YES!
Interacting with Petting Zoo made me laugh, squeal and giggle. Yes, it’s *that* much fun to play with. Trust me, download it, and laugh away with your little ones (or alone). I can’t wait to show this to Tilo tonight!

3D Printed Maille iPhone Case
I had the honor to sit next to Ping Fu at last night’s Cooper Hewitt National Design Awards Gala and she handed me a an absolutely amazing 3D printed iPhone Case by Freshfiber. I put it on my iPhone and have been fiddling with it nonstop since. The interlinked rings create an incredibly fascinating texture. The rings move seperately from each other so you can jiggle them.
The case was designed by Janne Kyttanen and you can buy it and lots of other cool 3D printed designs over at Freshfiber.

Maily is an email app for little kids that let’s them draw/write a message and then send it to a selected group of family members and friends. Cute idea. And most of all, the name Maily makes me smile.
