so, where’s that fold?

One of Michael’s posts pointed me to a really cool site called www.foldspy.com. All you need to do is sign up with an email address and url of the domain you want to check out. The site then gives you one line of code to insert into the site, once that’s in, it should give you a guideline as to what people are seeing when they land on a page.   1. Von, there are two issues to do with fold– the one in the article addresses whether or not people will actually bother with the content below the fold, which is now a non-issue. But from a design and presentation (visual) perspective, the fold is still important, as it effects composition and first impressions.
