This minimal, hand-made leather backpack by Alfie Douglas just won my heart. (It comes in three sizes)
I have been saying for years that I will throw a party once my kids are over the car seat stage. This smart car seat, called Mifold has me ridiculously excited. It’s a tiny booster seat for kids, only instead of lifting the kid to the position of an adult, it pulls the seatbelt down to the correct height for the child. Brilliant!
I wonder though how comfortable it is for the kid sitting on it…
Absolutely loving this minimal media console by Los Angeles based furniture designer, Ben Hopkins. Two swissmiss thumbs up!
That moment where you love a Ceramic (Paper) Mug that was gifted to you *so* much you decide to buy 7 more to create a full set, and you realize it costs $58 and you fall off your chair. NOPE!
The Hummingbird is the lightest folding bike on the market. It weights a mere 6.5kg (~14 lb). Totally wishlisted!
Luna is an artistic lamp design inspired by the Moon, available in a range of seven sizes from the XXS 3.2 inch model to the XXL 23.6 version. Stunning.
I get very excited when furniture is multi functional: The Flop chair looks comfortable and spacious, and it can be easily turned into a functional twin bed. And as a bonus feature, all the guest bed paraphernalia (pillows, comforters, and sheets) can be stored right inside the chair. So good!
Inspired by traditional Japanese fishermen’s packs, the Bucket Bag can be carried as a spacious tote or cinched shut and slung over your shoulder. I like.
How incredibly supercool is this fold-up ORU Kayak? I noticed one while spending a day at the lake of Constance today. They fold down to a compact, backpack-able package. Supercool. All I kept thinking is that I could easily take this on the NYC subway. Ha!

Last week the fabulous Paul Octavious stopped by our studio and I couldn’t help but notice his supercool sandals. They are by Clay and Bros and are the most minimal Sandal you could ever buy, made of a parachute cord and a Vibram sole. I wish they had some photos on their site of people wearing them. They looked sharp on Paul…
