Red Studio was originally launched in the spring of 2004. This year, in conjunction with the addition of new features and activities, and in response to a visitor evaluation study conducted last summer, MoMA redesigned the “umbrella” site and added an interview with the artist Shahzia Sikhander (conducted by a group of teens), a collage activity, and a bulletin board for visitors to send in responses to posted questions. Upcoming additions include interviews with the curators Joachim Pissarro and Paola Antonelli. The project has been the result of a close collaboration between the Digital Media and Education Departments at The Museum of Modern Art.
