Coffee Drinks Illustrated
I always argue with folks that a Latte has no foam to being with! Having worked with coffee, I know that adding foam is a chore and takes a certain amount of skill and effort. I don’t understand how people add it by default.
I wonder what would happen if I ordered a “flat white” here in NYC. That’s an Aussie expression, no?
I love that it bounced to Ohio then to you. :)
Ha! Somebody needs to send this to starbucks! Wrong coffee ‘makes’ is one of my pet peeves but I always keep my mouth shut so I don’t sound like a doosh.
Hi..I would like to use your illustration as a t-shirt design. Wold that be ok? It would be for profit and I would share a percentage of any profits with you. Pleas let me know if this is ok.
@peter Tina didnt design that image and selling the design on a tshirt would violate copyright laws…sorry to burst your bubble.
on another note i LOVE this information design!
Haha, what Kelly said… I come off like a douche whenever I rant about the whole “Caramel Macchiato” not being a macchiato at all. But it’s not just Starbucks. I lovelovelove Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, but the whole “Mocha Latte” thing makes me want to throw my shoe at someone.
You are missing the choccochino – hot chocolate with an espresso to add coffee in
@peter et al. The original can be found here, http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/2007/08/20/an-illustrated-coffee-guide/.
There is a follow up post that releases the source files for noncommercial work here, http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/2007/09/04/coffee-diagram-follow-up/.
And TShirts / Mugs can be bought here, http://www.cafepress.com/lokesh.
Maybe not the money you wanted to make out of it but if you really want a TShirt…
@jupp thats because choccochino is some crap some idiot made up. coffee should not have chocolate in it.
@Prescott Perez-Fox yes flat white is an Australian and New Zealand drink and I was very disheartened to find I couldn’t get one anywhere in Europe, except at a place in London called Flat White run by New Zealanders
