Tried these but they seem to have a life of only about 10 charge cycles before expiring. In my wireless Mighty Mouse they never showed above 60% even when newly charged, which indicates they never get up to 1.5v.

Neat idea. Another is the Battery Caddy made by http://www.toolsaviation.com Great way to store and transport your batteries once they are re-charged!
