Olafur Eliasson’s Ventilator, a fan hung on a long cord in the main atrium of the Museum Of Modern Art, New York. Can’t wait to go see this with my own eyes.

Just let me know when you’re coming so I can run around the galleries with you too! And remember it closes on June 30.

I went and saw this exhibit (benefits of being a member) and it was great. (The fan, though, scared me a little as I just had images of it flying off and pulling some Final Destination stuff. But I am also the person who refuses to walk under the helicopter.)

i especially enjoyed that piece. do yourself a favor and experience standing right under the center of it. it may seem like it’s going to hit you in the head, but it won’t.

The crowd seems to disappear after the shot zooms in and out!?!
Funnyweird.

This piece scared me! I thought I would get hit by the fan but…it didn’t! :) I personally liked Olafur’s “I only see things when they move.”

I love the presentation in SF MOMA better. It was set in the entrance which space is tighter and the fan is coming and going like a fly. Also there is tension on weather it will hit some where.
