I have been getting a lot of emails about when the next morning-coffee-get-together is going to happen… I finally have an answer: Next week! Please join me friday september 19, 2008, for a “Coffee and Chat” at swissmiss studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn. 8.30am – 10 am.
Email me to rs.v.p. (there’s limited space in our studio) and I’ll send you the exact address.
Coffee and munchies will be sponsored by Freshbooks, a billing service I personally use. Like so many of my designer friends, I used to spend way too much time writing my invoices and making sure that they look good. You can’t take the designer out of me, not even when it comes to sending an invoice. I know… I know…
Looking forward to seeing you! And again, make sure to r.s.v.p for directions. And by the way, that’s our view from our studio, it’s worth the trip, I promise!
UPDATE: We’ve reached our full capacity, sorry!
OH! To be in New York so I could attend!

A former NYer born in Brooklyn, who also worked with the Downtown Brooklyn Development Association in the 19700s, I remember the days when downtown vitality was just a dream. You guys probably have no idea how long that road is that you’ve taken. Seems like all the former NYers wish they could attend. Me too. Please post afterwards and let us share in the fun, creative encounter! I’m hoping the pot can be stirred here in Tucson, too, just like it was in Brooklyn, which will always be my home.

Hi Tina,
I just have to ask, what’s the name of the small bicycle in the background of the top photo of this post? Personally, I find bikes to be one of the coolest objects anyone could ask for. Hey, there might be a post in there ;)
Thanks,
Luke
