Schweizer Militärvelo M05 Swiss military bicycle 1951
Oh, I would love to have one of these swiss army bikes to cruise around here in Brooklyn. You can get them at this ebay store, that is if you have deep pockets.
I’ve owned (and subsequently sold) quite a few Militarvelos, which is unfortunate because they’re getting harder to find in nice condition. They are wonderfully engineered despite weighing over 50 pounds, yet once you get going it’s smooth sailing.
hey tina, i own one and it is really a lot of fun to ride them! but as they have just one gear, you need all the other 20 gears in your legs ;-)
if you get the chance to visit munich/germany some time, get in touch with my friend here http://www.militaerrad.de/, the prices should be much better than the one from the uk ebay shop.
Hi. By accident I just stumbled upon a picture of a swiss army bike that I sold on eBay :-)
If anyone is interested in buying one of the then please email me at [email protected] or visit the eBay shop.
My bikes are checked out by a former swiss chief bike mechanic and GUARENTEED :-)

If you really want one, look on ricardo.ch, there’s often at least one on there at any given time.

A Swiss Army Bike? I wonder where the knife comes out… and the toothpick.

I owned one as well. While they’re visually pleasing, I don’t recommend them for recreational use. They’re way to heavy.
