President Obama announced today that his administration will begin stamping an emblem on projects funded by the economic stimulus package so that people can easily recognize the effects of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Oh, I can already see the many T-Shirts/Mugs/etc making fun of this pop up all over…

I actually think this is a fantastic idea. One of the main problems with big initiatives of any kind (governmental or not) is the immediacy and visibility of the effects. Gratification is key.
What I’m trying to say is, people like warm and fuzzies, and this might help show them what all this money is going for in a very real way.
