The car looks like a modified Nissan Figaro, not sure it’s available in the US though.

The car in the photo is an Autobianchi Bianchina – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autobianchi_Bianchina – based on the Fiat 500 and built between 1957 and 1970.
