Block Dock

The BlockDock for iPad is an elegant, solid wood stand for vertical and horizontal viewing. Every BlockDock is hand crafted from wood locally harvested in the Pacific Northwest. Pretty, no?

  1. It’s pretty for sure
Ive seen this one http://www.woodenipadstands.com/ before. Almost the same idea for less than half the price.

  2. Ah. Had the same idea, haha. But, obviously, no idea is unique. And now I gonna toss the idea to do it by my self. Both, BlockDock and Wooden iPad Stands from dutch, are very reasonable.

  3. Sticky base so it doesn’t slip around

  4. Look into this one: Block22 by sherwood+meister

  5. Such a nifty idea from a fun (and local, for me) Portland-based company!

  6. Not long after getting my iPad, I made my self a nice wooden stand out of beautiful walnut in a nice graceful arc rather than just a block. I too agree that nice wood and the iPad go great together.

Thanks Swissmiss, seeing this here inspired me to make a 3 more of the stands this weekend to try selling on Etsy. I’ve never done it before, but I figured what the heck, we’ll see what happens.

It was fun to make and to take the photos. I hope you like it.
