Reminds me of Revver, a fun little Adobe AIR app from Studio Ludens at http://www.studioludens.com. Their site seems unresponsive at the time of posting this comment, however.

Every virtual kaleidoskope has the same fault. The image reflected is a beautiful but static image and not a random formed image with pieces and gravity.
