Complaining Does Not Work as a Strategy

“If you took one-tenth the energy you put into complaining and applied it to solving the problem, you’d be surprised by how well things can work out… Complaining does not work as a strategy. We all have finite time and energy. Any time we spend whining is unlikely to help us achieve our goals. And it won’t make us happier.”

  1. Not only is complaining a waste of energy, it takes us farther away from solving the problem. Complaining rarely reaches the ears of someone who can do about it. Somethings we can change, somethings we cannot.

  2. How true! Moreover complaining puts you in a bad mood and this often worsens the situation.

  3. Warranted Dis-Appraisal is permitted to describe and manifest the Problem itself and Un-Quality Costs under ISO 9000 Quality Management.

  4. Isn’t that exactly what this article is? :) LOL.

  5. So I really needed to hear this today, on multiple life fronts: job, home, etc. It’s like you’re in my head Swiss Miss ;)

  6. Under ISO 9000 Quality Management, the remedy of Warranted Dis-Appraisal (it is also called Continuous Improvement = Kaizen – Toyota approach to reduce Muda = waste) has two impacts, a reduction of un-quality costs and an increase in quality – this all in one swat

    Thus, you get improved sustainability, which in turn improves customer satisfaction and brand name.

  7. Complaining and continuous improvement under ISO 9000 does work!

  8. Love this! It’s so true.

    Also, on another site i read there were mentions by some bloggers that they feel comments are down. And I promised myself that I would take today to thank all the bloggers I read every day and appreciate so very much.

    You are one of the ones on my daily check in list, so THANK YOU for all your efforts to share your world and ideas.

  9. Unfortunately complaining works for complainers as a part of their strategy: emotional blackmail. They complain because they believe or pretend to believe they can’t do something. They need pity and mercy and attention. And they are lazy.

  10. Wonderful work! This is the type of info that are supposed to
    be shared around the net. Disgrace on Google for not positioning
    this post higher! Come on over and discuss with my web site .
    Thanks =)
