People always seem a little confused when I mention that I use Outlook for email on mobile, because when people think Outlook, they think an outdated webmail interface from back in the internet’s heyday. But mobile Outlook is great. Really, it’s hardly a product built by Microsoft at all – Microsoft acquired a startup called Accompli who had built an amazing email app, and Microsoft basically absorbed them for $200 million and renamed it Outlook and boom, there you have it.
