Did you know you could turn your AirPods into a makeshift hearing aid? If you have ever had difficulty hearing someone during a conversation, AirPods can be your on-demand hearing aid. Apple introduced a feature, starting with iOS 12, called Live Listen. Once set up, you can place your iPhone closer to the person you want to hear, and the AirPods will produce clearer audio for you. To set up this feature, go into your iPhone Settings and click Control Center.

  1. That site with all the paper sizes – so fun! I own a blueprint shop, so my world is 24×36/30×42/18×24/11×17/etc PLUS all their half-sizes. This has inspired me to make some sort of framed art piece based on sheet sizes.

When customers ask us print a size by NAME (i.e., Arch D), we always seek confirmation by SIZE (24×36) – too many people don’t really know what they’re talking about name-wise, but we can all agree that 24×36 is 24×36. Plus you throw in/consider the scale of the drawing and there’s yet another layer :)

  2. I just wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed your blog for a long time now, and always find something to think about more deeply. Thank you.

  3. Just an FYI: Tortus is pretty shady. For more info, you can look up #unfollowtortus on Instagram, search for Tortus and you can get more information about his less-than-stellar treatment of women and his questionable business practices.

  4. Would like to echo what Katy said above. As a female ceramic artist, I’ve watched my community struggle with Tortus’ fame despite sexual harrassement allegations and exploitative practices. I’m definitely discouraged to see him getting accolades here.
