I believe there is a name for this: humility. Unfortunately this concept has been co-opted by some religious doctrines to mean moldable and obedient. But I like this quote as a better definition :)

honestly this really hit me—i’ve been way too hard on my kids when they mess up instead of just letting them sit with it and figure things out. the idea that being wrong is actually a skill you have to practice makes so much sense.
