Incredibly odd yet fascinating Body Anatomy Sweatshirt.
Enamel Ruler Necklace
First came the Envelope Pin and now there’s the Enamel Ruler Necklace. Consider me a fan of City of Industry. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
The Blade
I have written about the Blade necklace back in March, after I met its designer Njoki Gitahi. I am so happy to share that the Blade Necklace is now available for sale, handcrafted by metalsmith Melissa Hamming. A beauty, right? An no, it’s not sharp!
House Industries + Uniqlo
There’s nothing better than brands you love teaming up and turning up everyone’s dial of awesome to 11. In this case: House Industries + Uniqlo.
Honest Commerce?
I am impressed by the transparent information on manufacturing, price calculation and carbon footprint detail on honest by, a clothing e-commerce site. Take this coat for example: It took 32h to design and took 4 fittings, then 20min cutting time, 68min assembly time, 12min of ironing. The price calculation break down is nothing short of impressive.
I wish I could see this breakdown on clothing brand sites I shop on. It would clearly impact my purchasing decisions. Congrats to Bruno Pieters, founder of honest by for challenging the garment industry to be more transparent.

Slowfactory
Fashionable space nerds unite: Slowfactory sells silk scarves with prints from Nasa’s Hubble images. Yes, totally fantastic and nerdy.
Break Dance
Break Dance Not Hearts by Josh Reichlin.
Cotton Bureau is a new service that takes the pain out of t-shirts for designers. Designers can submit a shirt design, and if CB likes it they put it on the site. If at least 25 people people pre-order, the shirt will go to press. Cotton Bureau handles all the printing malarky, and they split the profits with the designer, fair and square.

Full Moon
A Full Moon Kids’ T-shirt, handprinted in Brooklyn. What’s not to love?
Map of the World Skirt
While attending the most recent 99u conference I couldn’t help but notice my friend Anne’s fantastic Map of the world Skirt. It’s such a gem, I wish they would offer better product photos on their site, it doesn’t do the awesomeness of the skirt justice.
Wireframe Tee

Converse + Marimekko
Converse teamed up with Marimekko: A match made in heaven!
Foldable Japanese Rubber Boots
Not sure why I would need foldable rubber boots, but I am intrigued.
The Blade
I gave a small presentation at Yale Art School yesterday and after the event I had the pleasure to meet Njoki Gitahi. She introduced herself and handed me a gift, the above necklace. I was a bit speechless. She made it!
I told her to put it up on her site and take orders asap! So, if you agree with me, and think that she needs to put The Blade in production, let her know!
(And no worries, it doesn’t have sharp edges!)
Dress Responsively
This T-Shirt celebrating responsive web design made me chuckle. Don’t know what RWD is? Here.
(Thanks Nate)
Brooklyn Internets
This made me laugh: Brooklyn Internets. Don’t know why this is funny? Here.
Itty Bitty Project
The folks of Kiss Me I am Polish took a refreshing stab at kids t-shirts. The result? Itty Bitty Project, a t-shirt series that lets the kids customize their tee. I love the idea, but am afraid the pieces will be lost in no time. But hey, I might be wrong!
Photoshop Etiquette
A message that is worth spreading in the design community: Name your Layers by Photoshop Etiquette
University of the Future
This T-Shirt by Matt Pisane raises the question: Who needs to go to an actual university if you have the internet?
Mountains
Love this simple Mountain T-Shirt by Ugmonk.
This.
Do what you love, love what you do. Words to live by. Also available as a print.
