  1. cool. i live in munich #7 and i´m pretty satisfied – though i would prefer living in LA. :)

  2. I think the underlaying theme is that we should all learn German. Swiss German will do.

  3. I’ve lived in the Top Two! Feels good and accurate.

  4. i’m a lifelong vancouverite, and it’s perplexing to me that the city places so high so often. i love my hometown, but rent/housing is so expensive and there are plenty of social problems. plus, brooklyn is way more fun.

  5. Auckland? I live two hours from there and most New Zealanders would live ANYWHERE but there if they could avoid it!!

  6. I love Vancouver. Being 20 minutes away from the North Shore mountains and some great ski/snowboard terrain is amazing. If you don’t like rain though, you’re screwed! Luckily people in Vancouver seem to be cross-bred with ducks so they get along fine.

  7. Spent two weeks recently in Z for a project and loved it except for the INSANE cost of living there. You can’t buy a meal there for less than the equivalent of $30.

  8. Hey Tina, just thought I’d let you know, that I’ve written my own list of cities based on your entry. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

  9. I didn’t know that Bern was considered as one of the world’s biggest cities… ;)
