Abandoned Blogs

According to the Technorati 2008 State of the Blogosphere, of the 133 million blogs the site tracks only 7.4 million have been updated in the last 120 days. (For those that don’t feel like doing the math, that’s 125.6 million abandoned or at least unloved blogs.)

  1. A lot of people heard on the news, or in a newspaper about someone who made money using a blog, they try a little, and quit soon, because they don’t see results. And this article is the result of their actions.

  2. sad. however, i think i might be guilty of this.

sometimes something seems like a good idea at first, but after time, it becomes a burden or you realize it wasn’t such a great idea after all. At the blogworld conference, i learned that you can’t be afraid of failure, and for every success you have, you likely have a number of failed attempts.

  3. Would love to hear your input on this Tina. You more than most of us would have a thought on this
