My rule for buying things is that if i can make it myself, I don’t buy it. In this case, I would be paying for a pretty spiffy idea and a very nice looking delivery. Your wife may be great, but you are being a very sneaky little ass trying to promote her. Why not say something positive, like “this is an awesome idea! if you like shrinky-dink stuff you should also check out my wife’s website!”
