I am fascinated by this ring, designed by Brooklyn based designer Peter D’Aquino. This ring would be a wonderfully smart solution for a traditional engagement/wedding ring in Switzerland. Unlike here in the US, when you get engaged in Switzerland, you first have a silver band which you then exchange with a gold band, when you get married. With this ring, you would still be wearing the silver band, hidden in the wedding band. How wonderfully poetic.
