Something just made me think of Fischli and Weiss’s "The way things go" (Der Lauf der Dinge). If you haven’t seen it, make sure to check it out. It’s amazing! (Here’s a short trailer) It’s an art installation inside a warehouse. A 70-100 feet long structure has been constructed using various items waiting to be set in motion by a chain reaction. It’s all about cause and effect, mechanism and art, improbability and precision.
Jaw-dropping!
You got to see this Honda advert that was inspired by The Way Things Go, won man awards. Apparently the makers had to try it 600 odd times to get it running right through, without a single cut.
