My laptop is like a big giant magnet for our little Ella and all she wants do is touch the keys and screen. Realizing I need to protect it against everyday hazards caused by spills, dirt, crumbs and other unwanted elements, I researched what’s out there and found the iSkin Laptop Keyboard Protector. I first thought it would be cumbersome to write when the iSkin is in my place but that’s not the case at all. It’s washable and easily removed. And I am a tad bit more relaxed when our little munchkin approaches. Available at Amazon
.
I have one for my mac! It is really great. It softens the “clicking” noise when I type (very important when I was in a student in a big lecture hall and everyone could hear me type). When you use the ISkin, though.. you have to clean your screen more because the cover transfers the dirt from your fingers to the screen when you close your laptop. Anyway, have a great day!

I bought one of these and was disappointed at the feel when typing….then I saw a review from Mr. Gadget (www.mrgadget.com) and he recommended a company called KB Covers…I bought one online and was blown away…way better than iSkin.

I use the iSkin, and like it, though I agree with meg that it does transfer dirt and grime pretty easily when you close your laptop.
Might have to check out KB Covers…

total disapointment.
it´s true, it does transfer grit and sweat(it even scratched my screen) and my iskin turned from clear to opaque in about 3 months time.
