This is exactly why I always shied away from Montessori. Admittedly the only thing I ever learned about Montessori is that one toy is packed and put away before another is brought out, but that was enough. How is a kid ever going to realize that intermittently stacking legos and record albums will create cool patterns on the wall when you shine the EasyBake Oven light through the stack?
My father-in-law is an art teacher. My favorite quote of his: “Our goal here is to make things that don’t exist.”
