Single-use, biodegradable, compostable and simply beautiful looking Disposable Tableware by Japanese company, WASARA.
(via pitch design union)
beautiful. I remember you did a post on wasara back in 2008.
Same post from 2 years ago?!?!
Really elegant stuff. We used them for a party a month ago. The cups are fantastic. You’d hardly know that they were disposable. You can get them in bulk for larger parties here: http://www.joannehudson.com/dinnerware/wasara-biodegradable-tableware.html
That’s really beautiful tableware. I know it’s disposable, but I’m sure I’d try to clean it to get a few extra uses out of it… (or look for a similar design that’s permanent…
I have these and love them … I actually feel terrible having to through them away :)
These are beautiful, as they are wasteful. Biodegradable, unfortunately, means squat if they end up in landfills where they can’t breakdown.
