Slot-in Bookcase

Shoebox Dwelling is officially one of my new favorite blogs. The Slot-In Bookcase they posted today made me gasp. German designer Florian Gross has created Konnex. It has all attributes I want to see in a bookcase: It is light, modular, stackable, easy to put together, fully customizable in any room, big or small. Two thumbs up!

  3. Brilliant. It looks simple but the design idea is genius. I’s love to have this in my room. I’m just wondering if it won’t fall off if I a lot of stuff in there.

  4. Top notch design. The flexibility of it makes it an important addition because you can use it in your apartment today, your office next year, your kid’s room the year after that. I love furniture that can change with you.

  7. I love this kind of modular furniture – it reminds me of my beloved Cubit (http://www.cubit-shop.com/), which is possibly my most favorite shelf ever.

  8. Designer posted a link to the ‘Konnex Configurator’ on my site this morning. It lets you build the shelf and figure out how many components you’re going to need for your unique idea. Efficient and rather fun. Enjoy!

  14. Artfully compile from your entire manuscript or working material a so-called sample chapter that showcases your writing style and features the range of what your book has to offer.
A good activity that will help break the ice among new members of your book club is Questions from the Hat.
It will be a brief statement of what the book is all about and will write it in a very catchy sense.

Having one own car is the most attire thing ones dream about.
Ya that’s right, hand made, an every time someone changed the size of a nut or bolt, a
new wrench had to be made.
