The Strida 5.0 has just been released and it is a stunning technical achievement! Strida 5.0 starts shipping on December 7th and they are now taking preorders. I am happily riding the 3.2 to work every day. Wish a bike upgrade would be as easy as a software upgrade…

    front wheel weight with hydraulic brake?

  5. The disc brakes are mechanical, not hydraulic. The whole Strida 5.0 weighs 9 kg (19.4 pounds), but if you only want the front wheel, I have no idea what that weighs. You can buy 16-inch spoked wheels at many bike shops.
