This is very real. A Current Affair is a trash journalism show however (although I’m ashamed to admit my family has actually been on the show)
Parties like this have been in the news fairly regularly, however this story has snowballed due to the kid lapping up the media exposure and his appearance.
As mentioned it is real, naughty cory was apparently just charged with creating a public nuisance and child porn (?!) charges. I believe they are also looking to recoup the $20k cost of the police presence.
On another angle, it demonstrates the power of MySpace!
zacislost: way to over generalise. this has nothing to do with australian dance music or the festivals. should we all be good little citizens and listen to classical music while we calculate our tax for the quarter? just because you can’t appreciate something does not mean it has less value than what you perceive as important.
He’s a cheeky little prick, but I like him. He can hardly be held responsible for the behaviour of 300 odd other people.
In the same situation I would have told her to jam it, antagonistic, juedgemental cow that she is. The point of journalism is to present the _news_ not play up to alarmism.
“Have a good look at yourself”. WTF? This is on a show called A Current Affair. Hardly unbiased.
If Corey was ten years older this would just be called ‘bad publicity’. Which, in Hollywood, is still publicity. He’s not that silly…..has made an @ss of many Australian journalists in the past week…..

It’s real and it’s sad that its getting as much worldwide publicity as it is. Infamy is too great a reward for this kid.
