These four color-coded polypropylene chopping boards are designed to avoid cross-contamination of various food types: red/raw meat, white/cooked foods, blue/fish, green/vegetables. The boards are stored in an ABS plastic horizontal filing unit with a non-slip rubber bottom. Boards are dishwasher safe. Index Chopping Boards
These are a great idea! I don’t cook too much, so maybe I’m over concerned with the fact that there doesn’t seem to be much separating the boards inside the filing box.

yep, my question was, what happens when you shove them all back in the box together?

I can see you don’t cook much :)
You have wash the boards before putting them beck in place.

there seems to be a little indentation between each board, to keep them in place, I think this leaves a little space between the boards… I think they look really nice :)

Oh. Wow. My stationery fetish knows no bounds. We have a set of flexible colour coded cutting mats already, but they have a shelflife…when they go…these shall arrive.
Thank you for spotting these!

oh yes, I’ve seen these – have to say I would’ve preferred actual dividers between each board because I wouldn’t want them touching – even with the indentation between each! I would’ve at least preferred a larger indentation between each. Love the idea though!

Hi Everyone
I am the designer who developed the boards for http://www.josephjoseph.com. A very design aware company based in the UK which produces loads of really good products. Have a look at their website for more cool ideas.
Your comments are all fantastic.
The boards are divided by a space of about 3mm and cannot touch. It is better to have a space between so that air can circulate. If complete walls were between each one it would make the box almost impossible to clean. We included an open base so that the box can be easily cleaned.
