I have one and it is a really great mat; it definitely has more cushion than a regular mat. However, your hands definitely smell like rubber after a class! (Which luckily goes away after one hand washing.)

These mats are THE best! Never slippery, even when brand new. And I kind of like the smell :)

Nothing worse than doing child’s pose on a brand new polyethylene yoga mat which smells like a chemical spill. I take it these don’t have that problem?
