I just got a good chuckle out of this iphone app called AntiMosquito Fumigator. The app claims to keep mosquitos away as long as you keep it running in the background. It emits a high-pitched sound that humans don’t hear but mosquitos do and not appreciate. I’ll gladly give it a try this coming weekend, but I admit, I am not too hopeful.
(thank you sorella)
Hilarious. If is does work, I’d be SUPER impressed. Mosquitoes are a scourge on my yard and if I could make them suffer, I’d be pretty happy about that. :)

Wow, that would be a lifesaver, I hope it keeps those bloody “no-see-ums” here in Miami away too!

As awesomerobot points: sound DOES NOT repel mosquitos. It’s just a high tech scam

Also not a great scam in the sense that they’re giving it away for free.

such stupid thing, even if you can produce a high frequency sound with the software, the iphone/ipad speakers are not capable of reproducing that sound. just scam

I think high-pitched music repels teen-agers though… so it might have a use.

I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s
pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all
webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever
before.

Article writing is also a fun, if you be acquainted with afterward you can write or else it is complicated to write.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each
time a comment is added I get several emails with the
same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Thank you!
