Interesting and dispiriting re. the This American Life retraction, but it is also important to bear in mind that the NYT hasn’t retraced any of its stories about the abuses in Apple’s overseas factories – and recently ran a story about the positive effects the criticism and scrutiny have had in terms of workers’ rights and pay:
