The Moves iPhone App tells you how much you move (or not). Moves automatically records any walking, cycling and running you do. The app is always on, so there’s no need to start and stop it. Love it!

I love the app as well, but turned it off after 2 weeks. Couldn’t get through the day without charging my iphone twice…

Yeah, that must drain the battery like hell …

I had a similar issue, needing to recharge more often. I did like the feature of letting you know where you were between long walks. Possibly a little weird, felt a little big brotherish, but still liked that feature. but in the end had to uninstall.

For those who can’t figure out if they’re in motion?

Definitely a battery drain. I used it for about a week and then turned it off. The GPS would also show me walking through buildings when I was on a sidewalk…so how accurate can the step count be?

I’ve been testing it alongside my NIke+ FuelBand and I’d say the steps are fairly accurate. The cycling was very accurate. I didn’t find it to be as bad a battery drain as I’d expect.
Actually, the best part so far has been: it doesn’t share info. I can’t tell if the app sends reports out in the background (I’m assuming that I would need to opt in to do so), but I can’t accidentally tweet my entire routine to the world. This is a personal app, and for people interested in tracking their own activity it’s a good first step.
What it does lack is some kind of goal tracking, calorie measurement and merit or reward system, which Nike+ does better.

I have had this app for a couple of days now and boy do I want to up the exercise/steps taken in the day!! It is driving me to exercise more which is great!!
I agree with Jim – it does feel a bit big-brotherish .. because it tracks where you are all the time…I also felt embarassment that I spent the entire day at home and did absolutely nothing!!
I have been using it in conjunction with Daily Tracker app.

I started using this a few days ago and only turn it on when I go for walks and want to know how far/how fast. Use it to add exercise to MyFitnessPal.
The closer I am to central London the less accurate the tracking seems to be.

Where do folks keep their phones? None of my skirts or dresses have pockets.

The daughters are of marriageable age and vie for the affections of the various bachelors.
I was reading some reviews built in English (I am way from
fluent in Japanese) and I was kind of stunned with the
range of rice cookers there are out there. Several series got left by the wayside’you know how you’ll watch a coupla seasons of
a show and then, season three, it suddenly isn’t worth sitting through the commercials for.
